Since opening this restaurant in 1995, the management has endeavored to give back to the community whenever possible. After all, if it wasn’t for our community, we wouldn’t be the success that we are and we will never forget it! Everyone has charities, organizations and clubs that are near and dear to their hearts, and we are no different. I the past we have donated thousands of dollars to the Shepherd Spinal Center and Camp Twin Lakes, as well as countless youth and school sports teams. Heck, look around The Wing and you’ll see all of the team photos, plaques and trophies that we have accumulated over the years. This year, along with continuing our support for the local school and club teams, we are proud to be teaming up with The Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund, Breasta Fiesta and contributing to a golf tournament benefitting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
The Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund
The Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund was established in memory of Terry Farrell, a decorated member of Rescue 4/FDNY and Chief of the Dix Hills Volunteer Fire Department. Terry, along with 342 of his brothers perished on September 11, 2001 in the World Trade Center attack.
Our Fund is here to assist firefighters and their families with educational, medical and equipment needs. We support the firefighters who serve our communities.
The Terry Farrell Fund is operated predominately by firefighters along with friends of the Fund. We operate on a volunteer basis in order to give back to our firefighting community.
We currently have chapters in New York, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Texas.
The Breasta Fiesta team’s mission is to strengthen Atlanta’s breast cancer community by raising money and awareness for local Atlanta organizations that focus on breast cancer education, research, early detection, awareness and support services, as well as the unmet needs of the breast cancer community.
